What are PRS Numbers?
Premium Rated Numbers are Non-Geographic number ranges provided by national telecommunication companies (PTT) which carry a higher
charge rate, and provide a payback to the service provider on a per second billing for every call made.
Why would end-users use PRS numbers?
PRS numbers offer an alternative method of paying for telecom services by the end-user. The main benefits are:
Payment is received on the phone bill (e.g. BT bill) at the end of the month
PRS service is available for the user to use whenever they need, with no need to pre-purchase the service or set up an account.
The end-user knows exactly what they are paying for.
PRS service offers the reseller a secure payment method, where the payback is paid to the reseller by us.
The PRS ranges that we support are:
£0.05, £0.10, £0.15, £0.20, £0.25, £0.30, £0.35, £0.40, £0.45, £0.50 and £1.
PRS Dialling codes range from (UK Based)
44-844, 44-871 to 44-911.
