Information - How We Get It

When you register for our products or services, you will be providing personal information to UnitedConnect such as your name, phone number, address, e-mail and other information by which you can be personally identified. You will also be asked to provide demographic information such as zip code and age. If you purchase products or services on our site, you will be asked for financial information such as account or credit card numbers.

As a telecommunications company, we are required to file numerous reports with different administrative bodies. As such, UnitedConnect may provide aggregate statistics about customers, sales and traffic patterns. None of these reports or statistics will include personally identifiable information. In addition, UnitedConnect reserves the right to use personally identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity that threatens either UnitedConnect or any company affiliated with UnitedConnect. At the appropriate request of a Government Agency or as otherwise required by law or court order, UnitedConnect may disclose personally identifiable information.

Our web site uses reputable third parties to serve the advertisements that you see on the UnitedConnect web site. In order to provide you with certain features of our service, such as calendaring and "internet call waiting", we provide some of your personal information to others. When you refer a friend to UnitedConnect, we will send an email to your friend's email address inviting them to try UnitedConnect. Surveys & Sweepstakes

From time to time our site requests information from users via surveys or sweepstakes. Participation in these surveys or sweepstakes is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Affiliate Programs

When a user or company signs up to be a UnitedConnect affiliate, they do so through Linkshare. Linkshare shares personally identifiable information about affiliates with UnitedConnect. Ability to Opt-Out of E-Mails

If you do not wish to receive e-mails with regard to products and services other than what is displayed on the advertising window of the UnitedConnect products or services, you may opt out during the registration process.
